In this piece, I was tasked with coming up with and creating some variation of outdoor seating that would fit in a peaceful therapeutic atmosphere. I created two different versions, an industrial bonfire and an organic bonfire. I decided to create a more stylized texture for the charred and regular wood as well as the fire so the peaceful and therapeutic atmosphere was not disrupted by the harsh realistic style. The meshes are modeled in Maya, further detailed in zBrush and altered in zBrush to create low/high poly variations. Substance Painter and Designer were used in texturing the meshes. The fire animation was created in Unity using the pixel systems, and the texture was created in Adobe Photoshop.
